The Ritz Skin Clinic offers a variety of medical grade peels to address a number of skin concerns.
Designed to renew skin by stimulating the metabolism of the cells underneath, medical grade peels remove damaged or abnormal cells and replace them with healthy, more organised cells to give you the natural glow you’re after.

There are two main types of peels we use at The Ritz:
Superficial Peels
These peels are a lunchtime procedure, designed to mildly exfoliate the top layers of skin, resulting in a lighter, brighter and healthier complexion.Medium Depth Peels
These peels result in slightly longer downtime with more of a peeling effect afterwards. Medium depth peels are fantastic for treating sun damage, scarring, acne and fine lines.

What does the treatment involve?
Soula will first sit down with you for a comprehensive consultation (LINK) to determine which peel is right for you.
On the day of treatment, your face will be cleaned and the peeling solution applied. Depending on the type of peel, this will be left on for a set amount of time and either neutralised or washed off.
The process is not painful, however, you may feel a slight tingling or stinging sensation once the peel has been removed. Deeper treatments may be slightly more uncomfortable, and a fan is used to cool the face during treatment, ensuring you are comfortable throughout.
These chemical peels can be performed as part of a treatment package or as a standalone treatment.Are chemical peels safe?
Chemical peels are a safe and effective treatment with virtually no side effects.
Medium chemical peels can involve more downtime and peeling, depending on the treatment used.
It’s important that all post-procedure instructions are followed to avoid complications or potential side effects from your treatment.
Complications can arise when skin is overexposed to the sun with no broad-spectrum SPF. Picking or scratching skin post-treatment can also result in scarring so it’s important to leave your skin alone and trust in the healing process.
